Kabirians win accolades at National Level
St. Kabir Public School in association with Oxfam and YLAC has been running Equality Clubs for Class VIII since the last 2 years. After a successful year of activities, the club culminated with an Incubator Project. The Incubator is a competition where students come together and brainstorm the ideas to address inequalities in their communities and get a chance to have their project idea funded.
Our project, Project Sanchar has secured first position at the first-ever National Equality Club Incubator and will be receiving a funding of Rs. 2 lac! Envisioning a more inclusive society, Project Sanchar is a creation of a team of 7 students, Abiveer Singh Panag, Aryaman Jain, Aryaman Gupta, Nigella Mann, Grishma Sharma, Vansh Khera, Aarush Dhawan. The project will promote Indian Sign Language (ISL) by organizing workshops and training sessions in schools. These will help bridge the gap between different communities and work towards creating a more accessible society. Community connection during school years not just brings relevance to learning but also helps raise children sensitive to the world around them.
